A REGENERATIVE FUTURE WON’T LOOK THE SAME EVERYWHERE
We don’t imagine regeneration as returning to the past or abandoning everything humanity has already created. We imagine transforming what we have and creating what comes next—guided by nature, human creativity, technology, and what we’ve learned along the way.
Every community will be shaped by its place and the people who call it home. Regeneration might mean transforming a city block, revitalizing a suburb or rural town, restoring an abandoned main street, creating a mobile community, adapting to forests or deserts, or designing something entirely new.
The Glow Project wants to find, learn from, and connect communities already taking regenerative steps—and bring together people ready to help shape what comes next. The future shouldn’t be designed for communities. It should be co-created with them.
A regenerative future strengthens the systems that support life—food, water, housing, energy, transportation, local economies, community, and the living world. There may be thousands of ways to get there, and that’s the point. What could the places we already call home become—and what could we create together?
